Reflection: For this project we worked on coding, electricity and programming. We used different materials such as bread board circuits, wires, resistors, etc. Experimenting with the sparkfun was my favorite part because we were able to build a variety of small circuits with all of the different parts and learn to program easier. There were some challenges that we faced such as computers not working and having to find the reason why the board was not compiling. It was a very challenging unit but I think that I have gained more knowledge on programming, setting up circuits, and coding. Ciara and I had to get a lot of help from Ms. Havel because our computers kept not working. We went through 3 computers for this project. When it came to presenting our robot art, having a song play and lights go at the same time, we were struggling on getting our song to work and we didn't know how to program the lights at the same time. Unfortunately, Ciara was not here for the class presentation so I had to try and set it up by myself. When Ciara came back to school she tried to help me set up everything, we got the song to work but we couldn't quite get the song to play at the same time as the lights. Because we had struggled so much, Ms. Havel only graded us on our song and let the LED lighting part slide.
